SeaRenity Now! at the Pacific Place Condominiums. Built in the 1960’s, each section contains 4 units between 2 floors for a total of 52 units. Due to the age and construction of the buildings, you may hear the neighbors. This is an active area of the oceanfront close to restaurants, hotels and bars. Condo is best suited for budget travelers who wants a beach vacation with activities rather than a quiet beach vacation. A noise machine is left in every bedroom to help provide a peaceful sleep aid.
This is a two bedrooms and one bathroom condo with a full kitchen—stove range range with a vent microwave, garbage disposal, dishwasher and refrigerator. We leave a water pitcher with a built in filter and ice cube trays in the freezer. Kitchen is stocked with basic cooking tools, utensils, tableware (including for kids), cooking oil, basic spices, toaster and electric kettle. There is a coffee station with a single serve coffee maker that takes k-cups and grounds. Coffee pods, sugar, creamer and tea bags are available subject to availability. Laundry pods, cleaning supplies, trash bags and paper towels are under the kitchen sink.
One bedroom has a full size bed, a small vanity and two nightstands with usb lamps. The other has two twin beds and two nightstands with usb lamps. Please fully note the size of the beds. Furniture was carefully selected to accommodate condo size.
Both bedrooms have wide closets which holds the iron, ironing board and a beach items—chairs, umbrella and wagon. Use the beach items as much as you like but please keep them in good condition and leave any used beach items and out in living room behind the sofa, and sandy shoes on the shoe rack to minimize sand tracked around the condo. This saves our cleaners a lot of sweeping time. Please do NOT use the kids tent for the beach. This is for inside use only as our cleaners do not have time to clean that for the next guest.
Bathroom comes with shower tub, a hotel towel rack and a sink vanity. The hairdryer is place on the wall but most of the bathroom supplies are behind the bathroom door—toilet paper, towels, linens, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and hand soap. Need anything else? Just ask.
Living room sofa converts into a 55 1/2” x 78 3/4” bed to comfortably sleep an adult or two small children. Enjoy free or subscriber programs (with guest log in) with the Roku (smart) TV or browse cable channels. Roku TV is guest enabled so if you have an account, login and watch TV with your regular settings!
We wash any used linens and towels but if you need personal laundry done, there is a coin laundry room across the parking lot and a few laundromats close by. We do not recommend the building laundry room until upgrades are done as we’ve ran into dryer issues.
Behind the sofa is a small kids area with a small table and two chairs. Please be sure to mention that you are traveling with small kids and need a high chair and or play pen prior to check in so we can make sure they are available.
One assigned parking spot is reserved close by for easy loading and unloading. Please use ONLY this spot as towing is strictly enforced and very popular at the oceanfront. There is a city garage next door if you have additional vehicles.
We have monthly pest control that may coincide with a guest stay. The appointment normally takes 10 minutes and we do our best to balance not interrupting a stay but keep our pest control on schedule to maximize effectiveness. Please understand that we are in a coastal area where bugs are a natural part of life. They can get into an indoor space especially after heavy rain. We suggest spraying the thresholds on the doors leading to outside after any rain with the Home Defense spray—that has worked very well for us. We invest a lot on prevention but we can never guarantee a 100% bug free experience. If you have an issue with this, please know that we will not issue refunds for pest issues.
While we do not have staff on site, we strive to respond promptly and often except for normal sleeping hours. In case of emergencies, host and cohosts are locals.
